Workshop 5 - Valuing Company Reputation

This workshop empowers participants to nominate and begin to quantify company Reputation, CSR/CSV and company reputation attributes.


Learning Outcome

The outcome of this workshop is to enable participants to articulate the ‘bottom line’ benefits.



It is expected that this workshop will be conducted by either the Corporate Affairs or Sustainability executives (or contracted trainers) within a company as a standalone workshop or as part of a management program.

There are three elements to this workshop:

  1. A facilitated workshop.  This workshop would probably require employees to identify some aspect of Reputation/CSR/CSV which they would work to improve. Each business unit and then develop ideas and incorporate them into annual plans.
  2. A team activity, based on research about drivers of team effectiveness, which assists participants to think more laterally about success factors. The workshop method sets up a sense of competition and fun, which engages even the most cynical.
  3. Resources, consisting of a video which can be used to review the session and to extend knowledge to the more complex areas of Cost Benefit analysis and a set of course notes which provide indicative case studies and worked examples. .
